Dear TST BOCES Community,
I am both honored and excited to return to Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga BOCES as the Director of Exceptional Education. In this role, I look forward to collaborating closely with the dedicated staff and students on campus, as well as working at the state level and with our nine component districts to create learning environments that effectively meet the diverse needs of all our learners.
I have lived in Ithaca for 13 years with my husband, our two children, Thomas and Alexis, and our sweet dog, Ginger. While we enjoy traveling and exploring new destinations on the weekends, we also can be found engaging in the many local activities the Finger Lakes has to offer, including hiking, boating, and relaxing around the campfire.
Throughout my career as a teacher, instructional specialist, and district administrator in rural, urban, and suburban settings, I have had the privilege of using creative problem-solving and collaboration to design innovative learning opportunities for students. I eagerly anticipate continuing this important work and look forward to engaging with educators, students, and families in the coming weeks to better understand each community’s unique needs and aspirations for the future.
