Several exceptional education students from TST BOCES Smith School took and passed state exams recently.

Since September of this school year, two students passed the TASC exam (Test Assessing Secondary Completion), three students passed the Global Regents, four students passed the ELA Regents, one student passed the Algebra Regents, three students passed the U.S. History Regents and one student passed the Living Environment Regents.

“Our students come to us with significant learning and emotional challenges, as well as a history of often being unsuccessful in school settings,” said TST BOCES Exceptional Education Principal Mary Meeker. “For so many of them to have passed these very intimidating and difficult exams is a great accomplishment and a source of great pride.”
