Adult EducationTwo adults studying in a library

Our Adult Education programs offer a wide variety of services, educational experiences and training opportunities for the adults in our communities.

Offerings in the area of literacy include adult basic education and adult secondary education (ABE) for High School Equivalency (HSE) preparation. These HSE courses help prepare adult learners for the Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC), which is an exam similar in scope to the previously administered GED exam.

Additional adult education courses are offered in areas of specialized training such as welding, computer technology, security officer training, CDL, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR, hydraulics, defensive driving and coaching.

All adult education courses are open to anyone 18 years old or older.
